Set the weld time to the least demanding energy setting multiplied by the force increase; in this case Stack #1 ; weld time is set for 179 mS (150 x 1.192). The reason for this multiplier is due to the fact that the force in this case is 19.2% higher than normally required. Force is inversely proportional to the resistance of the work piece so increasing the force by 19.2% will decrease the resistance by a equal or proportional value.

So increasing the time by an equivalent amount as compared to the decrease in resistance, the total energy will be equivalent as the normal schedule requires.
